We are hosting two open houses coming up for those interested in hearing more about Redeemer City and our vision for the city of Madison and this new church. This is an extremely casual gathering and we will also be eating together and spending some time answering any questions you may have. We sincerely hope you might consider coming to one of the two open houses.

Our first team gathering, May 4, 2013. We are still two months out from the Johnsons moving here and we still have a good core started (picture is missing Casey’s family who were still in Florida for this pic).
Here is an interesting report from the Gallup.com on the most and least religious cities in America. Madison ranked on the top twelve least religious cities, in fact, the lowest by far of anywhere else in the Midwest. Take a look:

In the Summer of 2013, Redeemer City Church will begin gearing up for it’s 2014 launch. Casey Johnson, pastor of church planting at Christ Community Church in Daytona Beach, FL., will move to Madison to join forces with Nate Hobert, pastor of church planting at The Vine Church in Madison, and the two families together will plant Redeemer City Church in the Fitchburg area of Southwest Madison. The Vine and Christ Community Church are partnering to bring a much needed Gospel-Centered church to Madison.
The Johnsons will move to Madison this summer and a small core of people will meet to learn the core values of Redeemer City, grow together in community, and begin the mission in Madison. The hope is to have several different missional communities in the area before the end of the year and begin preview services in the spring of 2014. In cooperation with the Vine, Redeemer City is hoping to plant many Gospel-centered partnering churches in the Greater Madison area over the next decade.
